So I filled up my RHEL 6 hard drive this weekend and didn’t clean it up before shutting it down.
Upon booting up I received this error, “Install problem! The configuration defaults for GNOME Power Manager have not been installed correctly. Please contact your computer administrator.”
- On Login Screen, press Control + Alt + F2
- Login as root or sudo
- Remove some files or folders
- Check the permissions on your /tmp folder or just set them to: sudo chmod 0777 /tmp
- Execute the command: reboot
Hope this helps someone else along the ways.
