Relationships are Like Fireplaces

I recently tied the knot to my wonderful love and best friend on September 4, 2010 (wrote it here so I don't forget) and I'm by no means an expert at marriage or relationships, but just a simple thought for the day... "Relationships are Like Fireplaces"

Simplified list of tasks typically used to keep a fireplace going:

  1. Find logs
  2. Split logs into small pieces
  3. Stack logs
  4. When needed retrieve logs
  5. Insert wood into fireplace

Some of the tasks above aren't fun. In fact, many are hard and can be very time consuming. Yet, each is essential in keeping that fire burning strong and steady. Relationships are the same exact way.
